Request for a change of examiner

Blankett SR11 - A3

A student who has taken two exams for a course or part of a course and has not passed either of them has the right to have another examiner appointed unless there are special reasons otherwise. (Higher Education Ordinance, Ch. 6., 22§)  As the right to compulsory student placement/internship is limited to two occasions, a change of examiner may be requested after one occasion.

Normally, for student placements/internships and degree projects, the supervisor and the examiner must not be the same person.

NOTE! Documents submitted to the University of Borås are to be regarded as official documents and may be disclosed if someone so requests. After a decision has been made, the related documents are archived. Alternatively, certificates/documentation can be shown in person to university administrators.
