The Notification of Return to Studies form must be completed by students who wish to resume their studies after a period of approved leave from studies, withdrawal from studies, or an extended absence from their studies.

  Documents submitted to the University of Borås are considered public documents and may be disclosed upon request.

  Information on the processing of personal data

  The information you provide about yourself in this form will be processed by the University for the purpose of handling your case. Once the case has been completed, the information will be retained in accordance with applicable records management regulations and decisions.

  The University of Borås is the data controller for this processing, which is carried out pursuant to Article 6(1)(e) and Article 9(2)(g) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as well as Chapter 3, Section 3, Item 2 of the Swedish Data Protection Act.

  You have the right to access the personal data processed about you (a so-called extract from the register) and to request that such data be corrected or erased. You also have the right to object to the processing and to request restriction of the processing. These rights are not absolute and cannot always be accommodated. For example, the University's ability to delete information is restricted.
